2. Walk of Glam

Am 2. November fand der 2. Walk of Glam in Berlin statt. Das Wetter war gräulich und meine Besucherin aus Kassel, die eigens für den Walk of Glam angereist war, konnte ihre Augen nicht von der Wetter App lassen und jubelte irgendwann: ab 14 Uhr hört der Regen auf. Wunderbar! Um 14 Uhr startete nämlich der Walk of Glam. Und tatsächlich, kein Tropfen fiel vom Himmel.

On November 2nd, the 2nd Walk of Glam took place in Berlin. The weather was horrible and my visitor from Kassel, who had come specially for the Walk of Glam, could not keep their eyes off the weather app and cheered at some point: from 2 pm the rain stops. Wonderful! At 2 pm the Walk of Glam started. And indeed, not a drop fell from the sky.

Dieses Mal waren so viele Fotografen als Teilnehmer, dass es eine Fülle von wunderbaren, stimmungsvollen Fotos gibt. An dieser Stelle möchte ich die Namen der Fotografen nennen: Al Andy, Baron Ralph Joachim, Ralf Krüll . Nicht zu vergessen die wunderbare Tine ! Und ganz viele haben natürlich privat fotografiert.

This time there were so many photographers participating, that there are plenty of wonderful, atmospheric photos. At this point I would like to name the names of the photographers: Al Andy, Baron Ralph Joachim, Ralf Krull. Not to mention the wonderful Tine! And quite a few have of course photographed privately.

Eine besondere Freude war es zu sehen, dass dieses Mal viele neue Gesichter dabei waren, die sich trotz der unsicheren Wetterlage auf den Weg gemacht hatten. Und so stolzierten wir fröhlich über den Kurfürstendamm und erfreuten uns der aufmerksamen Blicke, die hundertfach auf uns gerichtet waren.

It was a special pleasure to see that this time many new faces were there, who had set off despite the unsafe weather conditions. And so we happily strolled over the Kurfürstendamm and enjoyed the attentive looks, which were a hundred times focused on us.

Ich habe natürlich noch am selben Abend auf sämtlichen Social Media Portalen Fotos gepostet und bekam prompt am nächsten Abend eine Anfrage, ob ich den Walk of Glam auch in einem anderen Land stattfinden lassen würde. Klar!!! Man darf also gespannt sein.

Of course I posted photos on all social media portals the same evening and promptly received a request the next evening, if I would let the Walk of Glam take place in another country. Certainly!!! So we can be curious.
